About Dr. Kevin S. Tralins

Dr. Kevin Tralins completed his undergraduate education at the University of Florida, where he graduated with high honors. He then earned his Doctorate in Medicine at the University of Miami School of Medicine, and subsequently completed his Internal Medicine internship at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami.

Dr. Tralins completed his residency training in Radiation Oncology at The University of Washington Cancer Center and The Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle, Washington. During his training he served as the Chief Resident in the Department of Radiation Oncology. Dr. Tralins also trained with Dr. John Blasko, a pioneer in the field of prostate seed implantation, at The Seattle Prostate Institute.

Dr. Tralins has expertise in IMRT (intensity modulated radiation therapy), IGRT (image guided radiation therapy), 3-dimensional conformal radiotherapy, prostate seed implantation and stereotactic radiosurgery. He has been active in clinical research, publishing papers and lecturing. He is a member of ASTRO (American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology), AMA (American Medical Association) and is board certified by The American Board of Radiology.
